WeCo Toilet once again shines internationally. This time, we obtained recognition from the Franco-Swiss Chamber of Commerce (CCIFs) during the 34th edition of the CCIFS trophies. WeCo and 8 other different categories were honoured in Lausanne on June 5, 2023 in front of more than 300 participants.
An event to solidify the French-Swiss network
The CCIFS offers a business network to French and Swiss companies, supporting their developments in the 2 countries. The association often organizes forums and meetings between companies to facilitate networking, promote partnerships and reward business efforts. This is the case of the CCIFs trophies which chose 9 winners, including WeCo, among 87 files, all as deserving.
One more recognition for WeCo abroad
WeCo received the innovation prize for its innovative and impactful technology particularly suitable to preserve the water resource since it allows the reuse of wastewater of the toilets into treated water for flushing, saving thus 97% of drinking water, which we can no longer allow to waste in the flushes.
It was therefore an occasion to make WeCo technology and its development projects known in Europe.
In her video interview for these CCIFS trophies, WeCo president summed up the different axes of WeCo:
• What are the main axes defining your company:
WeCo has developed the first closed circuit treatment and recycling technology for toilets, with a very innovative and industrial approach. We save 97% drinking water compared to conventional toilets and offer the first autonomous toilets which are neither dry nor chemical, but with treated water, like the connected toilets, therefore offering the same comfort and hygiene for users.
• The theme 2023 is the “re”. What is your RE?
o Re-use of water, or rather of wastewater!! It is the very heart of our technology which is the first to allow not only an effective treatment of black waters but above all, an efficient, safe and quick reuse of the wastewater treated, in closed circuit, for toilets. The reuse of water is the key for our future.
• And Switzerland for WeCo, what does it mean?
We were selected by the MassChallenge Switzerland, a 5 -month acceleration program created more than 10 years ago by the Boston MIT, then we have been labelled by the Solar Impulse Foundation in Lausanne as being among the 1000 solutions that change the world.
The CCIFS innovation trophy that has been granted to WeCo is therefore a new recognition of our innovation in Switzerland for the company.
