WeCo honored at the Construction21 Green solutions Awards
Construction21 is a collaborative platform and information portal available to professionals in sustainable construction and cities. It was designed to help develop new ways of building and renovating, thereby accelerating the transition to a green building economy. Launched in 6 countries in March 2012 by 9 European partners, it aims to cover 50 countries around the world by 2020.
WeCo met Construction21 because of its involvement in Institut de la ville durable of which we are members of the board of directors, the only start-up on the board of directors in the business section with 7 CAC40 companies.
It was during a ceremony bringing together more than 200 professionals from the sector – candidates, partners, jurors, journalists – that the French winners of the 2018 edition of the Green Solutions Awards were announced, including WeCo for its water-saving public toilets – also qualified for the international final.
The announcement of the winners will take place on December 6 at the University of Katowice in Poland, the building day of COP24. In addition, WeCo is offered with this recognition a pitch at Pollutech where she will exhibit at Hall 4 in the start-up village from November 28 to 30, 2018 in Lyon.
With this prize, WeCo receives the special mention of the jury in the sustainable infrastructure category, giving it visibility through the Construction21 platform in France and around the world with more than 1.5 million views and hopes to convince the international jury at COP24 in Poland in early December.
